Putin, Orbán to discuss bilateral ties, energy projects, says Kremlin

Moscow, February 15 (MTI) – The Russian president and the Hungarian prime minister will hold talks on possibilities of strengthening bilateral cooperation, including joint energy projects, at their Moscow meeting on Wednesday, the Kremlin said.

Vladimir Putin and Viktor Orbán will survey progress in the implementation of agreements concluded during the Russian president’s visit to Budapest in February last year, it said in a statement on Monday.

They are also scheduled to discuss possibilities in boosting economic and trade relations, promoting joint projects in energy and advanced technologies, and cooperation in culture, it said.

Putin and Orbán are also expected to exchange views on topical international issues, the Kremlin said.
