Government commissions impact study on future use of Déli railway station area
Budapest, March 11 (MTI) – The national development ministry will prepare an impact study of how land occupied by Déli railway station, which is to be razed, may be used in future, the government gazette Magyar Közlöny said on Thursday.
One of the possibilities is to convert the area into a sports and leisure complex as part of a plan to develop urban infrastructure on the Buda side of the capital, it said.
The study will also examine the option of expanding Kelenföld railway station.
