Ukraine to ban Hungarian politicians to speak on their mother-tongue?
Olena Suljak, a representative of the governing Servant of the People party in the Ukrainian parliament, said that Kyiv should penalize all representatives who do not speak Ukrainian in public.Â
According to karpatalja.ma, Mrs Suljak talked about her idea in the Ukraine24 channel. She commented on the initiatives of those local politicians who would like to abolish compulsory service in the restaurants, bars etc. in Ukrainian. She highlighted that she would like all Ukrainian politicians to use the Ukrainian language in public.

She added that she knew her idea was radical, but she would also penalize all politicians who do not use the country’s official language. She said that such measures are needed because
