With free entry to regular racing days, this course offers a great day out for sports fans.
The Famous Horse Kincsem
Anyone who knows about racing in Eastern Europe will recognise the name Kincsem, and this is because the course is named after one of the greatest horses of all time.
Running from 1874 until 1877, this filly was an exceptional horse and went through her entire career unbeaten. She ran 54 times, winning every single race and the next best horse to have a full unbeaten career is Black Caviar, with 25 wins including one at Royal Ascot.
This shows the kind of level we are talking about with Kincsem, she was a very special horse and will no doubt be remembered for many years, especially with the course being named after her.
How to Become an Owner at this Racecourse
Horse ownership in Hungary works just the same as it does in other popular racing countries around the world. You can own either a racehorse or a trotting horse by yourself, or if you would like to split the costs of owning a horse then you can get others involved in the form of a syndicate.
One of the first steps you should take is to get in touch with the trainer you want to train your horse. Although you may have expertise that can help you buy a horse, their contacts in the trade may get you a good deal, or they may have something already they are looking to sell themselves.
Horse ownership is all about having fun and being at the track when your horse wins and has proven to be a very popular hobby for many people around the world. Get lucky, and you may just find yourself and the horse you have bought hitting the latest sports news.
Betting at Kincsem Park
Horse racing is a very popular betting sport, with people studying the form and placing a wager on their fancied selection. Other parts of the world have their big meetings, such as the Cheltenham Festival in the UK, where people spend Cheltenham betting offers as they place their wagers, and Hungary is no different.
Look out for the big feature meetings in Hungary if you want to watch the best horse racing that this country has to offer. While we are highly unlikely to see another racehorse hit the heights of Kincsem any time in the near future, the stars of today will be on show in these races, and there is a chance that some international runners will make the trip.
Betting on these horses always adds excitement to the race, and if you are fortunate enough to win, you could have a great day out when you visit Kincsem Park.
