Incredible Hungary: somebody “stole” a bridge near Szeged – VIDEO
According to a local news portal, they are used to stories about stealing cars, phones, bikes, but they never heard about anybody who took a bridge home. Even so, that is what happened near Szeged this week.
Zsolt Garai, a stockbreeder and businessman, has been herding his Hungarian greys near Sándorfalva, a small village next to Szeged. The field where he herds is divided by a channel, so they built a wooden bridge for 1 million HUF – szeged365.hu reported.Â
However, somebody decided to “steal the bridge”, so they took out the planks until none remained.Â
Mr Garai says that the cost of the vandalism is 180,000 HUF (EUR 550) and hopes that the police will catch the perpetrators as soon as possible.
