Soviet-made helicopter seized at Hungarian-Ukrainian border
An unusual object has been confiscated by Ukrainian border guards. Someone was trying to smuggle a Soviet Ka-26 helicopter across the border in a truck.
The Ka-26 helicopter was to have arrived in Hungary as the cargo of a truck, reports thedrive.com. Ukrainian border guards seized the vehicle.

The New Voice of Ukraine reports that during a check at a border crossing in Transcarpathia, border guards found that the helicopter’s documents contained false information. Subsequently, they confiscated the vehicle.
According to a statement from the Ukrainian border police, the helicopter was intended to be smuggled across the border. The Ka-26 was in production until 1985 and was rarely used for military purposes. However, it is still used for agricultural purposes, mainly spraying, rtl.hu writes.
