UFO appeared near plane packed with Hungarians, here is what happened
A Budapest-Dublin flight of Ryanair needed an emergency landing on Thursday in Belfast because a UFO appeared close to the aircraft. Of course, we should not think about aliens attacking a plane packed with Hungarians. The reason is much more profane, and outraged Ryanair boss Michael O’Leary.
According to Budflyer, Ryanair’s Thursday evening flight from Budapest to Dublin needed to carry out an emergency landing in the Northern Irish capital because an unidentified, unmanned flying object appeared close to the aircraft. That was the sixth time a Ryanair plane had to land in the last five weeks due to enhanced drone activity over Dublin airport.
Therefore, Michael O’Leary, who is well-known for his sharp tongue, slammed the Irish minister for transport, Eamon Ryan, in a video shared from the budget airline’s headquarters. Here is the video:

The task is quite simple, Mr O’Leary said. The minister should end the drone activity over Dublin. “Most European airports – Gatwick, Heathrow, Stansted, Schiphol – all have anti-drone technology. It’s not expensive, it costs about €100,000 and it is operated by the airport police”, he added.
“The problem is, we have a minister who won’t take any action, he’d prefer to have meetings and produce memos and talk about it and there is this grey area over whether it should be gardai or should it be airport police. (…) “what we need today is not legislation, we need our minister to authorise Dublin Airport to spend the €100,000, buy the electronic equipment which will disable these drones once they’re identified and bring them down”, the Ryanair boss concluded.
“500 passengers were taken to an airport they didn’t want to go to and 20,000 passengers had their flights delayed and disrupted at Dublin Airport last night,” O’Leary highlighted in the video about the Thursday mess. He believes if the Irish minister cannot take action, he should resign. “He has sat on his hands for the last five or six weeks doing nothing, and he has meetings and producing memos is not a solution to this problem.”
