Hungarian Iron Lady Hosszú and husband welcome first child
Iron Lady Katinka Hosszú’s daughter was born. The Olympic champion swimmer announced the news on her social media page. She also shared a beautiful photo.
The daughter of Katinka Hosszú and her husband, Máté Gelencsér was born. According to the athlete’s Facebook post, the little girl was named Kamília Layber-Gelencsér.
Hosszú announced in mid-March that she was expecting a baby. Hosszú and her partner Gelencsér got married last September. Already back then, they said they were thinking about starting a family, hvg.hu writes.
PM Viktor Orbán also congratulated Hosszú. As you can see among the comments under her Facebook post, he wrote “Congratulations! The truly great things are just starting!”
The swimmer won three gold and one silver medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics. She is a nine-time world and 15-time European champion.
