VIDEO: Rarely seen animal recorded in Hungary
The staff of the Bükk National Park Directorate recorded that a wildcat had taken over the nest box of the Ural owl.
Employees of the Hungarian Bükk National Park put out a nesting box for the Ural owl. They noticed that it was occupied by a wildcat in spring. They have now managed to capture the incident on video.
The picture shows a well-grown, very large cat. While the average specimen is 80-110 cm long including tail, this one is much longer. An average specimen usually weighs between 4-6 kg, mandiner.hu reports.
