Another beautiful, four-star hotel opened in Budapest downtown
Radisson Hotel Budapest BudaPart opened its gates for guests on 19 October after a successful test period. The Radisson is Hungary’s newest business hotel, awarded four stars.
According to turizmus.com, Radisson Hotel Budapest BudaPart is in Újbuda, Budapest’s 11th district, near the famous Kopaszi Dam, where the capital’s second free Danube beach operates during summer.
A new city “district” has been born near the Kopaszi Dam. New office buildings and blocks of apartments opened their doors, serving the needs of the growing Hungarian middle class.
The new hotel’s restaurant is named Shanghai Kitchen since it is an Asian fusion place. Its operation is environment-friendly. That is why the staff wears a green uniform.
Ákos Kiss, the CEO of Property Market, the company developing BudaPart, said they were happy to welcome the new business hotel. According to them, such a hotel had so far been missing from the South Buda region.
They aim to create a district where everything is reachable with only 15 minutes of walk. A business hotel falls into that concept perfectly, he added. Guests can use business opportunities and recreational services without travelling anywhere.
The new hotel would like to serve business travellers and their families
Radisson Hotel Budapest BudaPart tries to satisfy the needs of business travellers. Therefore, it has four multifunctional and well-equipped conference halls. In addition, they have an event room able to seat 180 people.
They also have a wellness section. Thus, they hope their business guests will return with their families later, the hotel’s South African director, Carien Veldman, said.
Antoine Moubarak, the regional director of the Radisson Hotel Group, highlighted that the accommodation is plastic-free and energy-saving.
They have 198 rooms: 174 standard and 24 superior ones. There is also a modern fitness room.
In the BudaPart area of the 11th district of Budapest, there are already eight blocks of apartments, the MOL Campus and three office buildings. The project stands halfway now. Furthermore, it has a huge, green central park, Budapest’s fifth biggest public park.
