Budapest’s popular metro will commute on a shorter route from tomorrow
Trains on Budapest’s famous and popular metro line 2 will commute on a shorter route this weekend.
According to hirado.hu, the online version of Hungary’s public media, trains on metro line 2 in Budapest will commute only between the Déli pályaudvar (Southern Railway Station) and the Puskás Ferenc Stadium. From the stadium, you may continue your journey to the Örs vezér tere by replacement buses.
You may catch those buses at the bus station in Örs vezér tere (Kőbányai side) or the Kerepesi Street after the Fehér Street crossing. At the Puskás stadium, buses will start from near the metro station. Furthermore, they will also stop at the trolley bus station after the Kerepesi Street-Hungária Promenade.
