Below freezing temperatures are coming to Hungary, but will there be snow?

Get ready to bundle up, as temperatures in Hungary will drop below zero this Thursday, marking the official start of a winter chill come Friday. But the big question remains: will we see the first snowfall?
“Brace yourself for the frosty commute – coat, hat, scarf – as most parts of the country dip below freezing. While the day promises a sunny turnaround, persistent clouds may linger in the north-east,” warns the National Meteorological Service.
Expect a massive temperature drop, with many places feeling 8 to 10 degrees Celsius colder than the previous day.
Hold off on the umbrella for now, as precipitation is not yet on the horizon. However, keep an eye out for spirited winds in the orange-highlighted areas. Friday and Saturday might bring some precipitation, mainly in the form of showers and snow showers, setting the stage for a potential light dusting of snow over the weekend.
