Another improvement for buses in Hungary will help many
Starting today, you can track the movements of all Volán buses across Hungary in real-time through Google Maps.
Dávid Vitézy, transport politician, launched the project in 2022 during his tenure as the State Secretary for Transport.
Vitézy wrote on his Facebook page, “As of today, Google Maps will feature real-time data for the complete Volánbusz local and intercity service nationwide. I’m glad that this crucial navigational tool is now accessible to everyone across the country — and also that it hasn’t been interrupted by subsequent administrations, unlike many other initiatives…”
