Hungarian hunter awarded Weatherby Award
Béla Hidvégi, a Hungarian hunter who was awarded the Weatherby Award for remarkable achievements in hunting and conservation, had also been an inspiration to the success of the Hunting Expo Budapest hosted in 2021, the state secretary for international relations said on Wednesday.
In his laudation at the award ceremony in Dallas, Zoltán Kovács said Hidvégi also excelled in raising awareness of the “beneficial effects of ethical hunting and its contribution to the protection of wildlife.”
