Public transport in Budapest: Important change on Monday
Tram no. 6 will be out of service overnight from Monday to Tuesday for maintenance. According to the Budapest Transport Centre (BKK), replacement buses will be available during the affected period.
On the night of 26 February, from Monday evening to Tuesday morning, replacement buses will replace tram no. 6 due to maintenance work, the Budapest Transport Centre (BKK) announced on Friday.
According to the statement of the transport company, the replacement bus can be boarded or alighted at bus stops along the road instead of tram platforms.
The bus to Széll Kálmán Square does not stop at Margaret Island.
BKK also added that bus no. 931 to Pest will stop at the bus stop at Margit híd, budai hídfő, instead of the tram stop.
