New aircraft production hall will be built in Hungary
Hungary’s Magnus Aircraft laid the cornerstone of an aircraft production hall in Pogány, in south-western Hungary, on Friday.
The production hall is part of a larger, 6 billion forint (EUR 15.3m) investment project. Addressing the ceremony, Finance Minister Mihály Varga said the plant would produce locally developed four-seat planes, adding that the project would “also contribute to strengthening Hungary’s defence industry”.
Magnus Aircraft is building a 500kW solar park next to the 1,500sqm production hall, CEO László Boros said.
