The ultimate ‘supervillain’ of Hollywood, the world-known sibling of Julia Roberts, comes to Budapest in May for an international event, attracting large flocks of visitors to the mesmerising Hungarian capital.

According to Hungarian tabloid Blikk, we may bump into another superstar in Budapest this May. Eric Roberts, the daredevil brother of Julia Roberts and Hollywood’s go-to supervillain in blockbusters spanning the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s, is set to shake things up in the Hungarian capital.
At 67, this iconic actor boasts an impressive resume, having appeared in over 230 flicks and TV shows, making him a household name worldwide.
Eric Roberts is gearing up for a Budapest adventure over the Pentecost weekend, ready to dive into the wild world of comic book fandom at the Budapest Comic Con on 18th and 19th May.

He also played in the NBC drama Heroes (2007–2010), the CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless (2010–2011), the legal drama Suits (2014–2019) and the HBO series The Righteous Gemstones (2022).
But wait, there’s more! Joining Eric Roberts at Budapest Comic Con is a killer lineup of silver-screen legends. Expect to rub shoulders with Canadian sensation Alexander Ludwig, celebrated for his portrayal of Björn Ironside in the acclaimed Vikings series.
And that’s not all! The fun doesn’t stop there – Deep Roy (from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory fame), Graham McTavish (aka Dwalin from The Hobbit) and Erick Avari (the guy from Stargate, Independence Day and The Mummy) are all set to make appearances and rock the Hungarian scene.
