Mr Worldwide finally in Budapest: what to expect from Pitbull’s show and why he’s only coming now

Grammy Award-winning Cuban-American rapper Pitbull will perform in Hungary for the first time next summer. The iconic artist is set to take the stage at Budapest’s Puskás Aréna on 21 July 2026 as part of his I’m Back! European tour. Joining him will be his longtime collaborator and friend Lil Jon, who will open the concert as a special guest.
Tickets: general sale starts 24 October
Members of Pitbull’s official fan club and Live Nation subscribers will be able to purchase tickets in presale from 22 October, while general sales start at noon on 24 October, reported Telex.
Organisers shared a playful message with fans: “Get your bald caps ready!” – a nod to the viral trend of Pitbull fans attending his concerts wearing bald caps and sunglasses, imitating his signature look.

Spectacular show expected at Puskás Aréna
According to Live Nation, the I’m Back! tour promises to be Pitbull’s most spectacular production yet, featuring a grand stage setup, stunning visual effects, and pyrotechnics. The rapper will be joined on stage by his band, The Agents, and his renowned dance crew, The Most Bad Ones.
The tour kicks off on 23 June 2026 in Stockholm and will visit several major European cities (including London, Prague, Warsaw, and Riga) before concluding in Kaunas at the end of July.
After a cancelled concert, Pitbull is finally coming to Hungary
Pitbull was originally scheduled to perform in Hungary in 2018 at the Fezen Festival in Székesfehérvár, but the show was cancelled just days before the event, 444.hu writes. His 2026 Budapest concert will therefore mark his long-awaited debut before Hungarian fans: a first chance for them to see “Mr Worldwide” live.
Pitbull: bringing Latin rhythms to the world
Armando Christian Pérez, better known as Pitbull, first emerged in the early 2000s American hip-hop scene, later becoming an international superstar thanks to his signature blend of Latin and pop influences. His global hits such as “Give Me Everything”, “Timber”, “I Know You Want Me”, and “Fireball” have garnered billions of views and earned him hundreds of gold and platinum certifications.
Beyond music, Pitbull is also a successful entrepreneur. Under the Mr. 305 brand, he founded his own record label, launched the Voli 305 Vodka brand, and created the Globalization radio channel on SiriusXM, Index reports. A strong advocate for education, he is the co-founder of SLAM! (Sports Leadership Arts Management), a tuition-free charter school network in the United States that provides education opportunities for more than ten thousand students.
Pitbull has said his mission is to inspire people through his music while connecting cultures around the world. The star collaborated with Bon Jovi last year on “Now or Never” and is now preparing for another major tour – one that fans are already calling “Pitbull Summer 2026”.
