Hungary backs Poland against Brussels
Warsaw, May 19 (MTI) – Human resources minister Zoltán Balog during talks in Warsaw on Thursday assured his Polish negotiating partners of the Hungarian government’s support when it comes to “criticism from Brussels”.
“Hungary opposes any kind of sanctions against Poland,” Balog told MTI by phone after meeting Piotr Glinski, Poland’s first deputy prime minister.
Balog also met Elzbieta Rafalska, minister for labour, family, and social policy, and discussed the family policies of the two countries.
The Hungarian minister earlier attended the opening ceremony of the Warsaw International Book Fair, at which Hungary is guest of honour.
