Fire breaks out at Debrecen BMW plant

A small fire broke out at the BMW Group’s Debrecen factory on Monday morning, but their in-house fire brigade swiftly extinguished it within minutes—no outside help was needed, the factory’s communications team told the Hungarian News Agency.
In their statement, they explained that the team sprang into action immediately, following strict safety protocols to protect every employee and resolve the issue in a flash.
Thankfully, no one was harmed or even involved. Production is running smoothly as ever, they confirmed. They also highlighted how the BMW Group is brilliantly prepared worldwide for such rare incidents, with buildings designed and built to the highest safety standards.
