Chongqing representation of HTCC starts working

The new representation of HTCC has been working since January 2017 in South China, reports httc.org.hu.
The location is the city of Chongqing, a very important industrial centre of the region. The Hungarian Consulate-General opened in the city in 2010, Ferenc Fülöp, manager of HTCC in China, started his Chongqing job here as an external economic diplomat, back in 2013. During his time here he had the chance to get to know many industry and economic leaders in important positions, and he can rely on these relations during his job now. Because his job is to build economic and cultural relations between HTCC and the south-western region of China.

The province-level municipality is keeping the two-digit increase of the GDP, which is much more than the Chinese average. Chongqing is one of the four province-level municipalities of China, but it is larger than, for example, Shanghai, in terms of territory and population, and its city population is “only” the 60% of the total population.
