A Budapest hotel wins a prestigious award
The Dorothea Hotel clinched victory in the Hotel Project of the Year category at the esteemed Portfolio Property Awards.
The event, which assessed the exceptional domestic performances, solutions and developments of the year, marked the fourteenth edition of the Portfolio Property Awards. This prestigious accolade, as highlighted by vg.hu, acknowledges the most notable and impactful real estate projects and transactions of 2023.
A seven-member professional jury selected the winners, and the award ceremony took place during a conference hosted at the Marriott Hotel. The triumph in the Hotel Project of the Year category was bestowed upon the BDPST Real Estate Development project, specifically the Dorothea Hotel.
The five-star Dorothea Hotel will open in November 2023 on Vörösmarty Square, recalling Hungary’s “golden age”. The hotel boasts 216 guest rooms along with multiple gastronomic units.
Throughout the development phase, historical elements of each building, including the remarkable listed staircase, were diligently preserved and restored in collaboration with local heritage authorities. Discover more about the Dorothea Hotel here.
