PMP Certification Exam
This is very important step and one must know the standards and performance domains. PMBOK with latest industry standard is implement as guide for testing of candidates. In the PMP exam, candidates are tested in three main performance domains since Feb 24, 2020. These include:
- People (13%)
- Process (24%)
- Business Environment (31%)
Percentage shows the weightage of these domains. Each PMP exam comprises of 200 MCQs, only 175 questions contribute to the final score. Twenty-five sample questions are placed randomly in the test so candidate cannot differentiate.Â
Prerequisites for PMP
It is also important that who can apply for PMP certification or what are prerequisites for this certification. According to PMI:
- PMP is the best option for those having experience as project manager responsible for all aspects of project such as leading, directing cross-functional teams and project delivery.
- Candidate must have a high school diploma/ associate degree or equivalent certification.
- Candidate must have 7500 hours of leading and directing projects
- Candidate must have completed 35 hours of project management training.
OR
- Candidate must have four-year degree
- Have experience of 4500 hours of leading and directing projects
- Candidate must have complete 35 hours of project management training
