All Hungarian MPs submitted their asset declarations in time

All members of parliament and representatives of Hungary’s ethnic minorities turned in their asset declarations by the January 31 deadline, the head of parliament’s immunity committee said late on Friday.
János Hargitai said all declarations were available at parliament’s website.
The asset declarations, to be submitted no later than on January 31 each year, reflect the assets, revenues, and business shares of MPs and ethnic minority representatives as well as those of their spouses and children living in the same household with them.
The heads and deputy heads of the State Audit Office and the Economic Competition Office, members of the Competition Council, the head of the Budget Council, the head and members of the Public Procurement Council, the governor of the National Bank and members of its Monetary Council, members of the central bank’s supervisory board, the head and members of the Media Council and of the Sovereignty Protection Office are also required to submit a similar declaration, Hargitai said, adding that all of them had done so by the same deadline.
