American TV: Will Hungary leave the European Union?

European Union Foreign Affairs Ministry of Hungary Hungary United States

Péter Szijjártó, Hungary’s foreign minister, gave an interview to the American business TV Channel CNBC. They talked about the possibility of a Huxit – Hungary leaving the European Union. Below you may read how the minister reacted.

According to index.hu, the interview focused on the war in Ukraine, the EU sanctions and the EU funds. Regarding the EU sanctions, Szijjártó said they could not fulfil their task and did not bring Russia to its knees. However, Europe’s economy is struggling, he highlighted.

Hungary’s place in the European Union

Hungary condemns the war in Ukraine and wants the international community to move closer to peace, Szijjártó added. He said Brussels did not allow Hungary to access the EU funds due to political reasons. “Brussels hates that there is an anti-mainstream, right-wing, patriotic, Christian-democrat government in Hungary for more than twelve years now”, he highlighted enthusiastically.

“Is Hungary going to remain in the EU?”, the reporter asked Szijjártó. “Of course. We are proud members of the European Union. We are taking part in the debates on how to make Europe stronger”, he said. But the Orbán cabinet will continue to oppose the idea of the United States of Europe.

Szijjártó: Hungary guaranteed to draw record investments in 2023

Hungary’s government is set to announce hundreds of billions of forints worth of new investments in the coming period, guaranteeing that the country will again draw record investments this year, the minister of foreign affairs and trade said in Davos on Tuesday. The world’s biggest companies all speak highly of Hungary’s investment environment, Péter Szijjártó said after meeting executives from Coca-Cola, LEGO, Apollo Tyres, AstraZeneca, Dell Technologies and Greenlabs on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum, according to a ministry statement.

“LEGO, Coca-Cola, Apollo Tyres and AstraZeneca are all companies that are counting on Hungary as a global or European research and development centre,” Szijjártó said. Most of them have investments in Hungary and plan to make new ones, he added. The world’s top companies value Hungary’s political stability and low taxes, and speak highly of Hungary’s well-trained and loyal workforce, the minister said. “I can confidently say after today’s talks that Hungary will again attract a record volume of investments this year, just as it did last year,” Szijjártó said.

“Although it’s only January – and it may seem like we’re speaking too soon – but having seen, and being familiar with, the talks held again today, we’re going to be able to announce hundreds of billions of forints worth of manufacturing and R+D investments in Hungary in the coming period,” Szijjártó said.

To the clowns in power in Orbánistan, being an EU-member only means being a shameless beggar. They beg, and beg and yet beg, afterthat they immediately spit in the plate and bite the hand of the feeder. Until the next chance for begging appears on the horizon.
The day Orbánistan gets finally kicked out of the Union it will be a bright joyful day for “Brussels”. The EU will only benefit and Orbánistan will finally de facto become what it politically already is: an insignificant province of Russia.

The EU membership is what made Orban big. He has a the veto power (like all members) and uses it to extort money from the EU. Once Hungary leaves…Orban will become nothing again, just another leader of a small insignificant country.

If you already payed for a seasonal ticket, you want to reap the benefits to it’s fullest.

Hungary payed for the Eu membership dearly, by getting it’s economy gutted. Now it’s getting the benefits of the deal. It is only reasonable to keep the benefits for as long as possible.

And because the Western part of Europe will destroy themselves in energy policy, if Hungary stays in the Eu, Hungary can steal some of the economy the West stole back.

I believe Hungary is leaving the EU and joining the Brexit countries in preparation for the Glabal Currency Reset and implementation of GESARA

    Dear Abbie,
NESARA/GESARA refers to a conspiracy theory, promoted by Shaini Goodwin (also known as the “Dove of Oneness”), that all debts will be wiped out in a radical reset of the U.S. economy. It is a reference to the National Economic Security and Recovery Act (NESARA), a set of U.S. economic reforms proposed in the 1990s, which included abolishing compound interest on loans, replacing income tax with a national sales tax and returning U.S. currency to the gold standard. While the proposals were never actually introduced before Congress, conspiracy theorists like Goodwin claim that they were secretly passed by Congress and then suppressed by George W. Bush in the wake of the 9/11 attacks

Mario, there is no system to “throw” anyone out of the EU, saying it does not make it so. The EU should say thank you to the Hungarian people for keeping the uneducated, unruly hoards out of the EU and paying for the cost. It makes sense for Hungary to veto, it saved the people of the EU many headaches. No more money or armaments should be approved for Ukraine until such time as Zelensky accounts for all monies and armaments already delivered to Ukraine.
