An astonishing viewing platform inaugurated in Hungary – PHOTOS
The tower is 15 metres high, and the panorama of Börzsöny from it is breathtaking. Interestingly, this region is one of the least populated territories of Hungary, so it is worth a visit any time in the year.
The Várhegy on which the viewing platform was erected is 359 metres high, and the height of it follows the canopy of the surrounding forests. On top of it, there is a meteorology station and a webcam.
Péter Zámbó, the secretary of state responsible for forests, said that
the number of tourists grows continuously in the region
and, in 2019, it reached 500 thousand. Lűszló Kiss, CEO of the Ipoly Erdő (Ipoly Forest) added that there was an ever-growing demand for quality services from the tourists and the viewing platform provides excellent opportunity to meet those needs.

Not at all ‘astonishing’. A fairly humdrum affair.
