Another Hungarian university among the best in the world!
According to Shanghai Ranking, the University of Pannonia in Veszprém has one of the 150 best chemical engineering programs in the world.
Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) puts together the ranking of universities since 2003 with respect to the number and scientific value of their publications, Infostart reports. In accordance with this,
the University of Pannonia was the only Hungarian and the best Eastern European institute in the world to provide a chemical engineering program.
The university issued a notice in which they claim that the key factors in this acknowledgement were the high quality of education along with the great number and quality of publications, the research results they achieved as well as the comprehensive and efficient cooperation with companies.
This could serve as a good example and set a standard for
“the other Hungarian and Eastern European universities with chemical engineering programs, as well as a clear and significant feedback for the Hungarian companies in the chemical industry,”
quotes the notice András Gelencsér, the rector of the university.
The University of Pannonia has collaborating partners such as BorsodChem ltd., a Mol-Group, a Richter Gedeon Plc. and Sanofi ltd., which are decisive and innovative companies in the Hungarian chemical industry, and solid employers of their graduates.
