Another shopping chain to be closed on 24 December in Hungary
After Lidl announced that it will keep its stores in Hungary closed on Christmas eve, Rossman also announced that it will not open its drugstores on 24 December.
Rossman drugstores will be closed on 24 December, Portfolio reports, based on the company’s announcement. The decision concerns around 200 stores.
Gyöngyi Szurma, sales manager, said that Lidl’s announcement also weighed heavily in their decision.
Shopping centres where the mandatory opening hours also apply to Rossmann stores will be consulted in the coming weeks. The company is confident that they will be able to keep their stores closed in those malls as well.
Lidl announced a few days ago that its 200 stores in Hungary will be closed on 24 December, as we reported HERE.
