As TĂ©nyek reports, a tragic accident occurred on Thursday evening in NyĂregyháza, where a 13-year-old Hungarian teen was electrocuted while taking a bath and using her mobile phone. According to TĂ©nyek, the device was plugged into a charger connected to an extension lead. It is believed that the phone slipped from her hand and fell into the water, causing her to lose consciousness immediately due to the electric shock.
Emergency services arrived quickly and fought to revive the girl, resuscitating her several times before stabilising her condition at NyĂregyháza hospital. She suffered serious burns and was later airlifted to a specialist facility in Miskolc, where she remains under medical supervision. This tragic incident serves as a stark reminder of the dangers of using electronic devices near water, with experts urging the public never to use plugged-in appliances while bathing.
