Balaton Sound has begun!

The Hungarian festivalbeach Balaton Sound has opened with 2019’s huge line-up at Lake Balaton, Zamárdi. Wednesday saw Tiesto, J Balvin, Don Diablo, The Martinez Brothers and many more bringing electrifying performances to a sun-soaked lakeside site on Day 1.

Taking place between 3rd – 7th July 2019, Balaton Sound will see 5 days of non-stop beach-based fun with this year’s line-up for boat-parties is better than ever before. Zamárdi festival’s Boat Parties are back again this year, setting sail from Siófok’s Bahart port.

As well as four new luxury VIP venues the Balaton Sound ’Beach Bash’ parties are back every day from 4:30-6:30pm. Each Beach Bash will take place at one of the festival’s three new awesome beaches: Gold, White, Red. The fancy party-series opened on the 3rd of July at the Gold Beach with a Welcome Party.

Sustainability and harmony with the environment is a main goal for Balaton Sound this year once again.

The organizers want to thank their tree planting program for the cooperation with Zamárdi and hopefully start of a beautiful tradition. The year Balaton Sound has pledged it’s environmental commitment with reusable cups available and swapping plastic straws for paper straws, which will supplant about 400,000 traditional plastic cups, minimizing the amount of plastic waste.
