As we reported HERE, right after the 2023 Sziget Festival ended, the organisers announced the official dates for next year – mark your calendars for 7-12 August! Besides, 2024 is no ordinary year; it marks the 30th birthday of Hungary’s popular Sziget Festival. To add a cherry on top, the organisers are rolling out new passes for visitors aged 21 and under. 2024 Sziget Festival –Â the beat goes on
According to Index, almost forty heavyweights have RSVP’d for the 2024 Sziget line-up. One of Europe’s biggest music festival will feature superstars such as Fred again.., Martin Garrix, Sam Smith and Stormzy. Tamás Kádár, the main organiser, revealed:
We’ve already received plenty of positive feedbacks during this year’s Sziget about how we’ve cranked things up since the 2022 edition. The early bird tickets for 2024 are selling off nicely – it seems the excitement is off the charts
The teasers for 2024 reveal that the Sziget soundscape will be a melting pot of musical brilliance. From current chart-toppers to hidden gems and genre-defying wonders – they’ve got it all. Kádár added that four headlining acts already on board, with hopes high for more global icons. Hold your breath; the two nightly headliners for the main stage will drop early next year.
Banging line-up
Fresh face in electronic beats, Fred again.., is set to dazzle. Martin Garrix is also making a return to Hungary. Sam Smith, the man behind the internet-breaking hit ‘Unholy,’ is on board. Brace yourself for London’s lyrical virtuoso Stormzy, who’s not only visiting but also dropping a brand-new album this year – get ready to groove!
Louis Tomlinson, the heartthrob from One Direction, has started a solo career once the band split and is now breaking records. The wizard of electronic beats, Four Tet, is all set to make the dance floor sizzle. Brooklyn’s own Big Thief is primed to make the crowd go bonkers. The amazing Aurora will also grace us with her voice that’s captivated millions worldwide.
