Britain’s Got Talent winner Attraction premieres in China
(MTI) – Hungarian shadow theatre company Attraction has been selected to perform in Chinese state television CCTV’s new year’s gala show, the company’s director told MTI’s Beijing correspondent on Thursday.
Zoltan Szucs said their winning performance in London on Britain’s Got Talent last year became a world hit. The TV show during Chinese New Year is traditionally watched on by over a billion people.
Szucs did not reveal the theme of their performance, but leaked reports suggest they will evoke the Great Wall, the Forbidden City and the panda in their shadow forms.
He added that feedback so far had been positive and a China tour would be inevitable.
