Several Budapest hotels appear on the Forbes Travel Guide
The Forbes Travel Guide has been released for this year, evaluating and rating the best hotels of the world. There are a few luxury hotels in Budapest that managed to climb up the ladder and make it into the exclusively luxurious list.
The Forbes Travel Guide (FTG) rates hotels every year based on their specific self-designed system. This system only awards their stars to the most excellent hotels, which is considered one of the highest forms of recognition in the field. This year, several Budapest hotels have been awarded four- or even five-star ratings by the FTG.
The Forbes Travel Guide
The Forbes Travel Guide has its very own specific system designed to rate the hotels. Their ratings are focused on luxury hotels, restaurants and spas. It’s an independent testing method of evaluation that is done by incognito agents around the globe. Their professional inspectors take a precise look at every aspect of the service they receive, summarising it into a neat several hundred points of objective criteria. They can’t let their subjective views cloud their judgement, all the while staying incognito, thus making it a very difficult line of work.
Their work is what makes up the company’s annual evaluations, reviews and travel recommendations. This way, they help the community stay informed of all the best luxury hotels out there that offer stellar services while guaranteeing quality. All in all, the Forbes Travel Guide is a service that helps travelers discover the world’s best luxury experiences.
Amanda Frasier, President of the Forbes Travel Guide evaluations, commented on this year’s best of the best:
This year’s results indicate the rising demand for the more exciting and exotic travel experiences. Many upcoming destinations are in Middle East and Africa with a record high number gaining ratings on the Forbes Travel Guide. The hotels awarded are among the finest of them all in their respective categories of design, hospitality and wellness. The 2024 awardees will define the future of luxury in the field and are wholeheartedly recommended by us,
she stated. They encourage all hotels to continue offering fresh and exciting guest experiences.
Budapest among the best
Budapest has a dizzyingly wide array of fantastic hotels to offer to guests. According to the Forbes Travel Guide, the best of the best of Budapest is the Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest, which has received an impressive 5 star-rating by the FTG. The Four Seasons has also been included in the Condé Nast Traveller 2024 “Gold List”. The most praised were the hotel’s eclectic history, the size of its guest rooms and the well-equppied fitness center. The spa section has been graded separately and received its own 4-star rating, which is also exceedingly high.
Other than the Four Seasons Gresham Hotel Budapest, the Ritz Carlton Budapest and the Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest both received a high, 4-star rating on the Forbes Travel List. However, it’s important to note that the stars awarded by the Forbes Travel Guide does not equal the stars that the European hotel rating system gives out.
The Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest has received a rating for the 8th time this year, as they informed turizmus.com. Other than the above-mentioned hotels, the Anantara New York Palace Budapest Hotel, the Corinthia Budapest and the InterContinental Budapest, although they didn’t receive a rating, but have been warmly recommended to travelers by the Forbes Travel Guide.
