Terminals and airlines

Budapest International Airport operates primarily through Terminal 2, which is split into 2A (Schengen flights) and 2B (non-Schengen flights). Both terminals are connected by the central SkyCourt hall, making it easy to walk between them. Terminal 2A generally serves European Schengen destinations, while 2B handles flights to the UK, US, and Asia.

Prefer to use the train? The closest train station to Budapest Airport Terminal 2 is Ferihegy, with trains operating to and from the Nyugati railway station in Budapest. With the connections operating to the Nyugati railway station, it takes 30 minutes to reach the Budapest city centre. For certain trains, you need to buy a supplementary ticket. From the Ferihegy train station, Terminal 2 is accessible by bus number 200E.
