Budapest landmark illuminated in Uzbekistan flag colors for independence day – VIDEO
For the first time, throughout the night from August 31 to September 1, 2024, one of the most iconic architectural structures of the Hungarian capital, the Fisherman’s Bastion, was illuminated in the colors of the flag of Uzbekistan.
This event was organized by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Hungary with the assistance of OTP Bank in honor of the 33rd anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The Fisherman’s Bastion is one of Budapest’s best-known historical monuments. It is located near the Buda Castle.
This building attracts thousands of tourists from all over the world. It is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List and symbolizes Hungary’s rich history.
The illumination of the Fisherman’s Bastion in the colors of the Uzbekistan flag has become a symbol of friendship and cooperation between the two countries. This gesture emphasizes the significance and importance of celebrating State Independence for Uzbekistan and its people.
