Film shooting: Budapest metro will not stop at this station for 2 days
Public transport at Budapest’s iconic Heroes’ Square will be affected by a film shoot this weekend. The changes impact the Budapest metro, several bus lines and trolleybus number 75.
According to index.hu, the Budapest Transport Centre has modified the traffic order at Heroes’ Square due to film shooting this weekend. Dózsa György Street will be closed between Podmaniczky Street and Városligeti Alley. Additionally, Andrássy Avenue will be closed between Dózsa György Street and Bajza Street.
The restrictions will be in place from 5 AM to 9 PM on Saturday and Sunday. As a result, bus routes 105 and 210B will be diverted to Podmaniczky and Szondi Streets. Other bus routes with modified routes include 20E (Hungária körút), 30, 30A, 79 and 230 (Állatkerti Promenade – Hermina Street – Zichy Mihály Street).
Budapest metro will not stop at Heroes’ Square
Trolleybus number 75 will use the stops of trolleybus number 72 on Hermina Street, between Ajtósi Dürer sor and Gundel Károly Street.
According to the Budapest Transport Centre, the Heroes’ Square station of metro line number 1 will be closed between 6 AM and 8 PM. All trains will pass through the station without stopping.
