Budapest’s sandy “seashore”, Hungary’s largest natural water beach, Lupa Beach, opens next week with a free entrance weekend. Furthermore, all visitors are welcomed with daytime parties on Friday, Saturday and Sunday with kids’ programmes.

According to turizmus.com, Lupa Beach is starting the 2025 summer season with a free entrance weekend next Friday (6 June). Thanks to its development, the beach has become one of the most popular Hungarian tourism hotspots in the last 10 years. Lupa Beach offers sunbathing, scuba diving, beach and water sports, entertainment for families, foods and drinks from all over the world, cocktail bars and quality wines. The lake is crystal clear, which remains one of its biggest and most unique attractions.

Today, the beach season will kick off at Lupa Beach with the party of Euphoria at the Lupa My Car Beach, but the beach will not open for visitors. Next Saturday, Lupa’s unique SUN & FUN programme will start, which is an afternoon music event. According to the organisers’ promise, its sound volume will not disturb locals. Among others, the performers include Tom Noize, DJ Bia Breda, and Infragandhi.

Additional parties at Lupa

On the Night of the Beaches, there will be a Mamma Mia Beach Party, while at the end of August, you may blow off steam at the Shake It on the Beach party.

Lupa pays special attention to families with kids. Therefore, they introduced a special voucher which allows kids to participate in thematic children’s programmes while parents can enjoy the beach and the entertainment it offers. Each kid ticket will include two vouchers.
