Budapest’s traffic to be paralyzed Monday evening – details here

The last group match of the Hungarian football team organized in Budapest’s Puskás Aréna will have a considerable consequence on the traffic of the Hungarian capital. Below you may read the details about the changes.

On Friday, the Hungarian football team managed to defeat Germany in the previous round of the UEFA Nations League. The miraculous victory means that if Hungary wins tomorrow evening in Budapest against Italy, it can get into the finals of the international football tournament. As a result, Hungarian football could win something after long decades of annoying failures.

However, defeating the opponent for Marco Rossi’s team will not be a piece of cake. Italy is the current European champion, and Hungary cannot suffer a defeat from the Gli Azzurri in the last group match of the A division in the UEFA Nations League. Since Budapest’s Puskás Aréna hosts the match, traffic will change considerably on Monday around the stadium.

The Budapest Transport Centre’s statement highlighted that all fans should use public transport to get to the stadium. That is because there will be only a limited number of parking places there. To help fans do so, subways 2 and 4 and tram nr 1 will commute more frequently, index.hu reported.
