Champions League qualifier: Ferencváros defeats Ludogorec – VIDEO
Great win in the first leg of the first Champions League qualifier.
Already at the time of opening gates supporters occupied the arena and the streets around, which compared to a workday and the time of summer holidays was great to see, and so were the full stands at kick-off. Ferencváros ran on to pitch in its new jersey, the first with three stars.
Despite that the teams started with a careful play, Fradi took the lead in the 6th minute: Tokmac, who was one of the bests today shot to the lower left corner. In the second half of the first 45 minutes Ludogorets came up and managed to equalize after an avoidable mistake from our defenders.
Rebrov’s team fought with double effort in the second half and Zubkov won the match for us with a great shot in the 65th minute. The opponents tried until the last moment, but today the scoreboard did not change anymore. Fradi won 2-1.
The return game is played 17th July in Bulgaria.
