Hungarian festival to be held in New York

A festival of contemporary art featuring exhibitions and theatre and dance performances will be held in New York between September 3 and 7, organisers said on Monday.

The Hungary L!ve festival will feature the premiere of Enemies of the people, a play by Erika Marozsán, István Mohácsi and János Mohácsi, Orpheus and Euridice by Krisztián Grecsó and Beatrix Trisha Simkó, a staged reading of Csaba Székely’s 10 and a screening of Martin Boross’s film, Raw Material.

OIEE (Bence Kocsis) will hold a concert at the Nublu club. Grecso and Simko will also hold workshops at the Movement Research studios. The Gallery at Dobbin Mews and the TBSP Studio will also feature performances and concerts.
