Coronavirus – 14 new fatalities, number of registered cases rises to 1,763
Another 14 patients, mostly elderly people suffering from chronic diseases, have died in Hungary, while the number of registered novel coronavirus infections has risen to 1,763, koronavirus.gov.hu said on Friday morning. So far, there have been 156 fatalities.
Fully 207 people have left hospital after fully recovering. There are 847 patients being treated with Covid-19 in hospital, 63 of whom are on a ventilator, the portal said.

The epidemic is now at the stage of being spread through communities, and the virus could be present anywhere and infect anyone, the website said, warning that the actual number of people carrying the virus is much higher than the number of registered patients.
The elderly, students and people returning from abroad must stay at home, it said. Everyone must observe the curfew restrictions which the government has extended indefinitely, it added.
There are 12,401 people in home quarantine, and 41,590 coronavirus tests have been conducted at accredited laboratories.
Budapest has the highest number of infections (883), followed by Pest County (259) and Fejer county (128).
