The European Respiratory Society says ” Many countries are just starting to come to terms with the fact that smokers are 14 times more likely to die from COVID-19 (2, 3), but few have issued warnings to quit smoking (4) and to our knowledge, no country has ramped up its tobacco control prevention measures.”
It would be nice to see some statistics of how many who have died also smoked. Is smoking considered a chronic disease? They may want to include it if it’s not.
It may be a warning to our young people especially.
