Coronavirus in Hungary: More than 100 deaths in the last 4 days
Altogether 101 patients died of a Covid-related illness over the past four days, while 5,961 new coronavirus infections were registered, koronavirus.gov.hu said on Tuesday.
So far 6,403,425 people have received a first jab, while 6,188,501 have been double-jabbed. Fully 3,848,282 Hungarians have received a booster third shot and 267,472 a fourth shot.
The number of active infections has fallen to 97,280, while
hospitals are treating 1,833 Covid-19 patients, 49 of whom are intubated on a ventilator.
Since the first outbreak, 1,860,159 have been registered with the virus, while
45,611 deaths have been recorded.
Fully 1,717,268 people have made a recovery.
