COVID-19 active infections stands over 95,000 – latest numbers from Hungary

Altogether 60 patients died of a Covid-related illness over the weekend, while 4,657 new coronavirus infections were registered, koronavirus.gov.hu said on Monday.

So far 6,404,348 people have received a first jab, while 6,189,787 have been double-jabbed. Fully 3,852,933 Hungarians have received a booster third shot and 274,965 a fourth shot.

The number of active infections stands at 95,067, while

hospitals are treating 1,755 Covid-19 patients, 48 of whom are intubated on a ventilator.

Since the first outbreak, 1,872,664 have been registered with the virus, while

45,781 deaths have been recorded.

Fully 1,731,816 people have made a recovery.
