Attention! Brutal storms arrive in Hungary – VIDEO
After the drastic heatwave, causing the highest-ever dawn temperature in Budapest, storms will rule Hungary’s weather from this evening.
According to portfolio.hu, the storms, hails and showers arrived in Slovenia. As a result, our western neighbour introduced the highest red warning.
The weather change will arrive in West Hungary on Monday evening, while the Mediterranean cyclone will conquer Central and East Hungary by Tuesday morning. The wind will be strong (60-90 km/h), there might be hails (1-3 cm), and intensive showers (10-25 mm) are guaranteed.
The Hungarian Meteorological Services may introduce the highest red warning tonight. Due to the intensive storms, floods are expected, and landslides may occur too.
