Pakistani migrants escape from Kiskunhalas Reception Centre

On Tuesday György Bakondi, Chief Security Advisor to the Prime Minister, told Hungarian news agency MTI that seven migrants – most of them Pakistani citizens – had escaped from the Guarded Asylum Reception Centre in Kiskunhalas. Five men have already been apprehended by police and the authorities are still looking for two Pakistani migrants.

Bakondi explained that the reception facility in Kiskunhalas hosts migrants who are subject to legal proceedings. These illegal migrants decided not to wait for their proceedings to be completed, which means that by escaping they are continuing their illegal activity, he said.

The Chief Security Advisor said that the migrants first climbed over a fence around the sports field, and then over the facility’s stone perimeter wall.

On its website, Bács-Kiskun County Police Headquarters announced that the escape took place on 3 September at around 9 p.m.

  1. I assume that all migrants can be put into three classes, 1:economic 2:those fleeing from accepted countries of conflict 3: those who are criminals or possible terrorists. All have a duty to possess documentation saying who they are and from where, without which they should be returned to the point of entry and then repatriated. It should be made clear worldwide that the EU cannot be responsible for housing and feeding the whole of the worlds poor or unemployed. Nor should the EU be responsible allowing in criminals such as convicted rapists and murderers entry into the EU to live amongst us and continue these practices, all are borders must be strong enough to bar entry until the above criteria is met with and those not admitted to be returned from whence they came. I t must also be ensured that all accepted must be capable of assimilating into European society both religiously and socially we do not want to end up with Ghettos such as Luton or Tower Hamlets where whole swathes of the population are immigrants where little integration takes place including wives who have no intention of speaking the host country’s language.
We can appreciate the need for imprisonment for people who are not eligible or are potential criminals, the laws of a state must be abided by and the fact that seven people escaped from a secure prison appears to me that they were possibly violent and not law abiding
