Parliament to elect a new member of the Supreme Court who backs monarchy?

Parliament will be in session for four days over the next two weeks, starting with a secret vote on Monday to appoint the head of the Kuria, Hungary’s supreme court, with András Zsolt Varga, nominated by the president of the republic, the sole candidate.
 
A memorial service will be held on Monday for three recently deceased former members of parliament: László Mandur (Socialist), Sándor Szili (Socialist) and Attila Tarnóczky (Democratic Forum).

Following is a day of Hungarian-Bulgarian friendship.

On Tuesday, a government proposal to increase protections for victims of violent crimes against relatives will be debated. Also, government tax amendment proposals and the bill on family farms will be discussed.
 

On Wednesday, lawmakers will discuss the implementation and final accounts of last year’s budget.

 
According to szabadeuropa.hu, Mr Varga did not work as a jury for at least five years which was a prerequisite before to elect somebody member of the Curia. Before he talked about the reinstallation of the monarchy and added that Hungarians should consider
 
adding the right to choose a monarch to the Hungarian legal framework.
