That’s why, from the first Sunday of Advent, 27 November, twenty-eight Hungarian poems in a festive mood will be performed. The poems will be recited by renowned artists in the stations of the Kisföldalatti for twenty-eight days. The outstanding artists will be: János Áfra, Imre Csuja, Erzsébet Ecsedi, Anikó Für, Sándor Gáspár, Orsolya Holecskó, Péter Kálloy Molnár, Imola Korhecz, Ákos Kőszegi, Marcell Likó, Pál Mácsai, Adél Mihály, Péter Mihály, Péter Nagy, Áron Őze, Balázs Szálinger, József Szarvas, Ildikó Tóth.

This is not the first time that the passengers of M1 can hear poems in cooperation between BKV and the Balatonalmádi Golden Bridge Civic Association (Balatonalmádi Aranyhíd Polgári Egyesület). BKV, as with other events that convey culture and art, was happy to join the initiative to make the magical, expectant period of Advent even more beautiful with 28 intimate, thought-provoking, calming and uplifting poems over 28 days, bkv.hu writes.

Sometimes it’s good to slow down a little in the constant rush of everyday life. So, if you can, look out for the day’s poem in the Advent edition of Poem on the Platform. The works are available in one-minute intervals every hour on weekdays and weekends. BKV hopes to create moments of joy for all passengers with the wonderful festive poems of Hungarian poetry.
