Even Elon Musk reacted to PM Viktor Orbán’s statement

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has once again sparked international debate with his comments on migration, this time drawing an unexpected reaction from Elon Musk, the world’s richest businessman and owner of the social media platform X, formerly Twitter.

As Index reported, Orbán recently stated that while migration is often portrayed as a highly complex issue, from a legal perspective it is, in his view, remarkably straightforward. He used the opportunity to sharply criticise the way European leaders have handled immigration over recent decades, arguing that the continent’s current approach is neither accidental nor poorly planned.

According to the prime minister, mass migration into Europe is the result of a deliberate political strategy pursued by left-wing forces. He claimed that the ultimate objective of this policy is to fundamentally reshape European societies by replacing native voters with newly arrived populations who are more likely to support progressive political movements. These remarks are consistent with Orbán’s long-held opposition to immigration and his broader criticism of liberal politics in Western Europe.

In a short video shared on X, Orbán placed today’s migration debate into a wider historical context. He suggested that European politics has been shaped for roughly the past 150 years by what he described as a struggle between two competing “tribes”. One of these, he explained, believes Europe should remain rooted in its traditional foundations, including national sovereignty, personal freedom and Christianity.

While Orbán did not explicitly describe the opposing “tribe” in detail, his comments were clear enough to prompt a reaction from Elon Musk. The technology entrepreneur reshared the Hungarian prime minister’s video on X, adding a single word in response: “True.”

Despite its brevity, Musk’s comment attracted significant attention, as it signalled clear agreement with Orbán’s interpretation of Europe’s political and cultural divisions. Elon Musk has increasingly positioned himself as a vocal critic of mass migration and progressive politics in the West, frequently using his platform to comment on social and demographic issues.

The exchange highlights how Hungary’s migration policy and Orbán’s rhetoric continue to resonate beyond Europe, particularly among influential figures in the United States. It also underlines the growing overlap between political debates in Europe and the culture-driven discussions taking place on global social media platforms.

  1. As long as you are white or reach, migration is not bad using the hungarian or musk logic. You can check how musk family did the money he started to work with and then you can tell me how fair was that money accumulation. Anyway, i dont mean by any stretch of the imagination to open borders, but is unfair to put all immigrants in the same bag as hungarians usually do

  2. This is merely part of 2 larger debates that only The West is having.

    Those debates?

Is it good to replace your own people, under the pretext of economic exigiency?

Does America belong first and foremostly to the Anglo-Celtic White Race that created it; or does it belong, equally, to anyone that the Western Elite wish to bring in?

Is Ireland a reference to a specific people with a specific blood and a specific historic relationship to the land?;——OR … is Ireland just a reference to someone who happens to be living that, at the moment the reference is made.

The Western Elite, backed by Modern Liberals, belief that tribes are merely false constructs, (unless you are an American Indian) therefore you are the nationality of the country that reflects your current mail address – NOT where you ancestors live, who midwifed you into this world.

I agree with Toroczkai László – Hungary has citizens whose rights ought be respected, but, who, not being of Hungarian blood, ought not be allowed to decide the fate of Hungary.

Mongolia belongs to the Mongolians, not anyone else.

Noway belongs to the Norwegians – not the Moroccans and Syrians.

    • Stupid Mouton (AI Russian robot)

How many times I need to teach you that you don’t have diacritics in your keyboard. You cant write László!!!

      such an IDIOT.

We had one stupid, now we have two.

  3. I reckon there is good reason to question the anti immigration stand of our Prime Minister while he encourages hundreds of thousands of “Guest Workers” to come to Hungary. Perhaps it is also okay to question the anti immigration comments of a Mr. Musk, who is himself an immigrant. I’m an immigrant to Hungary myself, but I like to think I have a healthy respect for Hungarian culture and the people of Hungary as well.

    • I do not think that your prime minister is ‘anti immigrant, but, rather, he fully understands the disposition of his people, and accedes to it.

Therefore you must be right in your assumptions.

After all, your prime minister is a member of The Bilderberg Group, and, as well, was educated by the good graces of Svarc Györg, so, clearly he has Globalist thinking.

Orbán Viktor is a very interesting character – a fence rider if there ever was one.

    • Dear Grumpy Old Man! I am certain, no one would be against Your kind of Immigrant, not only within Hungary, but everywhere else in this Crazed World.Bless. ♥️

  4. You don’t have to be Elon to see what is and happened in Europe and what the future holds. Im sure the brilliance of the EU will save you.
