Expect 25 degrees and morning frosts in the coming week in Hungary – weather forecast
Most of us cannot wait for the permanent good weather. While today and tomorrow will see warm temperatures and sunshine, we still have to expect some cold days in the near future.
Thursday will see mostly cloudy skies with filtered sunshine and no precipitation. Daytime highs will generally be between 20 and 24 degrees, Időkép reports.
On Friday, temperatures will warm up from 3-10 degrees in the morning to 19-24 degrees in the afternoon.
But in the hottest areas, especially in the western part of the Kisalföld (Little Plain) and around Sopron, we could see temperatures of 25 degrees Celsius That is already a summer day in meteorological terms! On Friday afternoon, however, a cold front approaching from the west will bring thicker frontal clouds. Increasing showers will be possible.
Saturday will be cloudy or overcast with increasing clouds in the second half of the day. Rain and showers are likely in the south and east of the country, with strong gusts of wind in other areas. Temperatures will range from 6-11 degrees at dawn to 13-20 degrees in the afternoon.
On Sunday, we can expect light clouds, with several hours of sunshine in general, Telex reports. Then, increasing and thickening clouds from the west can be expected in the second half of the day. Precipitation is likely until the evening, with minimum temperatures between 1-7 degrees and highs between 14-18 degrees. Rain and showers will become more frequent from the west during the night.
The sky will be mostly cloudy until Monday morning. Then, clouds will move in during the day, with some sunshine. Rain and showers are expected in several places. Temperatures will be between 2-8 degrees Celsius at dawn and 7-15 degrees Celsius in the afternoon.
The National Weather Service (OMSZ) says on its Facebook page that a colder air mass will arrive early next week. It will cause temperatures to drop, and morning frosts could return in the middle of next week.
